  • Botanical Description: Ludwigia repens is a perennial aquatic or semi-aquatic plant that can grow both submerged and emersed. The stems are typically green to reddish and can grow up to 30-50 cm long. The leaves are opposite, oval to lance-shaped, and can be green, red, or brownish, depending on the lighting conditions. Submerged leaves are often more intensely colored. The flowers are small, yellow, and four-petaled, typically blooming from the leaf axils.
