  • Botanical Description: Sida rhombifolia is a small annual or perennial herbaceous plant. It typically grows erect, reaching heights of up to 1 meter (3 feet). The leaves are alternate, rhombic or diamond-shaped, hence the species name "rhombifolia." They are often hairy and have serrated margins. The flowers are small, yellow, and five-petaled, with a prominent central column of stamens. They are borne singly or in clusters in the leaf axils. The fruit is a capsule containing numerous small seeds.
